GASTRIC BYPASS
This surgery is done laparoscopically with a duration of 45 minutes. Also called biliodigestive bypass Roux-Y, forming a small gastric pouch of 30 ml. capacity by dividing the stomach and is joined by a part of the small intestine causing the patient to fill with little food and absorb 60% of calories.
